Tempus Fugit

An expression written by Roman poet Virgil which literally meant "Time forgets." "Sed fugit interea fugit irreparabile tempus" translated less colloquially as: "Meanwhile, the irreplaceable time escapes" - often meant to describe one's limited time is being consumed by something which may have little intrinsic importance at that moment. This Old World Clock Works clock was one of the many flea market finds now on display at my sister's home in R.B. Was that really made in Paris?
